We've all seen those Website Shouting they Have the Secret to Making Money on Line. The Secret to Building a Downline. The Secret to Success.

Well, I will let you in on a real Secret....

There is NO SECRET...

If there were, would these dummies be trying to sell us on learning it? NO, they would all be on an island somewhere sipping on a Tall Cool One, counting their money.

This all reminds me of the old ads we've all seen telling us we can make money, Stuffing Envelopes. And when you send in your $20 what do you get? A packet of ad copy and lists places to run the same type of ad you answered and sent your $20 in to get the Secret to Stuffing Envelopes. It's a Rip.

Not that all these, "I'll tell you the Secret things" are rip off's. But honestly, why would they be selling it if it could make them money selling what other people are?

No, there is no secret to making money online or anywhere else. There is only being willing to take the risk and put in the time and the work to make it go.

Just about any form of Marketing works for some people. They can get tons of sign ups using Hit Exchanges, or Safelists, or Classified Ads. Why? Because they have learned how to do it and they have worked their butts off doing it.

You have to learn what works for you. And then do it.

Right now there are tons of New Lead Generating programs popping up all over. And it's one of the New things, I think is worth working on and with. But there is No Secret to working them. There is just learning and working. Nothing is just going to fall into your lap. Nothing is just going to happen unless You make it happen.

There is no secret. There are just good ideas and programs to try, and taking the time to Learn what you are doing. Just placing Leads into an autoresponder may be helpful, but a phone call to those Leads can really make the difference.

But, if you can make One Phone call and talk to these people, what a difference that one call can make. And you don't have to be a Super Sales Person to do it. Just call and tell them who you are and that you wanted to touch base and see if they had any questions about wantever, then just shut up and listen. If you know how it works you will have the answers. If you don't Learn... Read your members site, contact your company and ask. It's not that hard.

I went door to door and talked my face off to people I never met. People who didn't know I was coming. And I still had a good time, met interesting people and sold them. Because I had taken the time to learn everything about the product I was offering.

It's the same with any program you are in. Learn all you can about it. And if you have Leads and can call them, do it. If you are overseas and can't afford the charges, then try the E-mails and offer to IM them, or to chat with them online somewhere. Use ICQ if you and they have it.

But don't feel left out if you can't call people. Some folks are just shy. And they find it hard to talk with strangers. That's okay. You can work on that. There are things you can do, but there is no magic bullet.

If there is any secret to making it, this might be it. Learn all you can about the program, product or service you want to offer. Make sure it is something you can stand behind and be proud to offer. READ the sites you JOIN. And that might just be the biggest secret of them all.

KNOW what it is you are SELLING. And be able to tell people about it, whether you have to write to them or if you call them or talk to them on the street, KNOW what it is you are asking them to join or buy. But don't SELL them, listen to what they are saying and asking, then ANSWER them by TELLING, not selling.

That's the secret...... ;-)
